Army family care plan chapter?

I wanted to know what the difference is between voluntary and involuntary separation due to no family care plan.I am married but my husband lives 8 hours away. Long term care plan is not the issue but there is no one here that I know well enough to entrust my child with for thirty days of less. Sure, there are people that can pick him up from daycare and such but no one that can take care of his for weeks or days? If I know that I am unable to come up with one before I am even counceled on creating one,will I have to automatically submit a voluntary request or do I wait until the thirty days expire and then will be forced out of the military? I am in a nondeploying unit and have a 16 months left after the baby's due date, so will they just let me finish my time without submitting chapter paperwork? I have no prior UCMJ actions or other negative actions. Also, if they do chapter me, do i keep my benefits like my GI bill?? any help would be great. thanks.
