I'm a 17 year old women who wants to become a police officer...?

i was wondering what is required and what is the training i would get as a female officer. Also I'm kind of dyslexic in spelling will that affect me in any ways. I would like to work in Arizona. And would the background check only checks me or my whole family because i have an uncle that went to prison and a sister that went to jail. Im almost out of high school and i didn't really know i had to join a sport should i take up soccer or something. Thank you so much ^^
