How did you like the message in a bottle by nicholas sparks?

the first book that i read by him was the true believer and i liked the plot.of course i am a great fan of love stories so i looked him up and turns out he is a famous writer.since then i have been wanting to read his books notably the notebook,a walk to remember and a message in a bottle.just yesterday i got the book and i finished it in a day.the book was great but i had a ominous feeling that something bad was going to happen to Garret and may be he will die(because the book started out with Theresa sitting alone on the beach and reading his letters and reminiscing) and that ruined the plot a bit.but the book makes you believe in everlasting love and also that you can find love a second time.
