Is it possible to win this court case?

Ok, here's the deal, our apartment complex was doing a huge re-painting on the entire complex. They gave us a notice about it maybe a day or two before the day of the painting. My dad is a construction worker and doesn't speak much English so I'm trying to help. The thing is the patio of our apartment is filled with construction supplies, ladders, paint, just a bunch of different things. The management told us to clear the patio or we will get evicted. I checked out the lease agreement and rules pamphlet and it clearly states that we are not allowed to keep these things. They barely gave us any notice and there is just to much stuff to move out. I would happily just move everything if they gave us a reasonable amount of time but, my dad is extremely stubborn and won't change his mind about the subject. His resolve is to sue the company for being able to keep his things in the patio and for not giving us a notice soon enough. So what will happen if we sue them?
